Terms of service
Draft · last updated 20 August 2026
What Proverbit is
Proverbit turns a written request into a narrated, animated explainer video. You describe what you want explained; the service writes an outline, you approve it, and it produces a video with chapters, captions and a transcript.
Your account
You need an account to make videos. You are responsible for what happens under it, so keep the password to yourself. One person, one account — an account shared between people is one we may close.
You can close your account whenever you like. We may close or suspend an account that breaks the acceptable use policy, and where it is safe and lawful to do so we will tell you why.
What you make belongs to you
You keep the rights to the videos you produce. We keep a licence to store them, to serve them to whoever you have made them visible to, and — where you have marked a video public — to show it in the public library and to people browsing it.
Setting a video back to private removes it from the library. Deleting it removes the file.
AI output is not guaranteed accurate
Videos are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken, and that is a property of the technology rather than a fault we have fixed. Check anything that matters before you rely on it, and especially before you teach from it.
Nothing produced here is professional advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise.
Availability
We try to keep the service running and we do not promise that it always will be. Videos in production when something fails are re-runnable; your allowance is not consumed by a video that never arrived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect, so you can decide whether to keep using the service.
