What we store
- Your email address, and a display name if you set one.
- The prompts you write — what you asked to have explained.
- The videos produced from them, with their outlines, narration and transcripts.
- What each video cost to make, so your account page can show you.
- A record of views: a salted, daily-rotating hash of the session. Never an IP address, and not reversible.
Your prompts go to an AI provider
To produce a video, the text you write is sent to a third-party AI provider that runs the model. They process it on our behalf to return the outline and the script.
If you bring your own provider key, your prompts go to your provider under your agreement with them, and we are not in that relationship.
Videos are public by default
A finished video goes into the public library unless you say otherwise. You can change that for a single video while you are making it, or for every future video in your account settings. Videos marked unlisted are reachable by anyone with the link but are kept out of search and out of the library; private videos are visible only to you.
Cookies
We set two cookies, both strictly necessary: one that keeps you signed in, and one that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no consent banner asking you about any.
How long we keep things
Videos stay until you delete them or close your account. An unused private video may have its rendered file removed after a period of inactivity to save storage — the recipe is kept, so it can be produced again.
Deleting your data
You can delete a video at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, write to hello@proverbit.com and we will do it.
Payments
Payments are handled by Paddle, who act as merchant of record. Card details are entered with them and never reach us; we see that a subscription exists, not what paid for it.
