Who else handles your data
Last updated 15 October 2026
To run Proverbit we rely on the companies below. Each one processes data on our instructions and only for the purpose named. We do not sell data to anybody, and none of these is an advertising network.
Payments
PayPal (PayPal Pte. Ltd.) takes our subscription payments. When you subscribe they receive your name, your email address and the payment details you give them. Those details are entered on PayPal's own pages and never reach us — we are told that a subscription exists and whether it is paid, not what paid for it. PayPal holds that data under its own privacy policy.
Paddle is a second payment provider we have built support for but have not switched on. If we ever do, it will receive the same kind of data, and this page will say so first.
Producing your videos
Our AI provider receives the text you write — the topic and prompt — in order to return the outline and the script. It receives nothing else about you: no name, no email, no account identifier. Processing takes place in the United States.
If you bring your own provider key, your prompts go to your provider under your agreement with them, and we are not a party to that relationship.
Our speech provider receives the narration text in order to return the spoken audio. It receives nothing that identifies you.
Running the service
Our hosting provider runs the servers and the database, and therefore holds everything described on the privacy page — at rest, encrypted, and not read by them.
Our object storage provider holds the rendered video files, their thumbnails and their transcripts. Keys are scoped per account, which is what lets us delete an account's files in one operation.
Our email provider receives your email address and the contents of the messages we send you — sign-in confirmations, password resets, and notices about your account. We do not send marketing email.
Advertising
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) receives the pages you open on this site, and whether you sign up or subscribe, together with your IP address and browser details — but only if you accepted its cookie on our banner. See the privacy page.
Changes
If we add or replace any of these, this page changes in the same release. If you want to be told rather than having to check, write to hello@proverbit.com and we will tell you.
